Fine Art Studio Series: Fall 2025 Homeschool Session for Pre-Teens
7-week soft pastel classes for homeschool pre-teens (ages 9-10). Includes 6 finished artworks, all materials, and a final class art show. Classes meet in my home in New Market on Monday.

Class Dates:
Mondays: Sept 9,16, 23, 30, Oct 7, 14, 21
A space to create, explore, and get gloriously messy.
This soft pastel series is designed for homeschoolers ages 9-10 who love to make art or just need a creative outlet that doesn’t involve a screen.
We’ll learn how to use soft pastels to build color, light, and emotion, focusing on fun, freedom, and process over perfection. Students will explore landscapes and floral work while developing confidence and their own unique style.
As a fellow homeschool mom, I know how important it is to find enriching, skill-building experiences that don’t feel like another worksheet. This is a relaxed, supportive environment where creative kids can:
Learn art techniques
Express themselves through color, texture, and writing
Build a portfolio of finished pieces
Connect with other homeschoolers
Walk away proud of what they made
No experience needed, just curiosity.
All materials provided.
Spots are limited so everyone gets plenty of hands-on guidance.
